Chest Pain Types, Causes and Treatment 

 

In chest pain, the first thing that comes to your mind is that this pain is related to your heart. Nevertheless, chest pain is not related to a heart problem every time; it can be due to something else.

What Chest Pain is

It is described as pain around your chest area, which starts from the shoulder and moves towards the rib cage's bottom. This pain can be common, and it is not serious or severe every time; it can be caused by anything. You should discuss it with the doctor for the diagnoses. 
This pain may occur due to chest pain caused by issues in the lungs, acid reflux, pulled muscle, bruised ribs or; nerves in that area, or bruised ribs can be entirely something else. Symptoms of Chest Pain

Symptoms of chest pain depend on what causes it. This may include:

  • Aching sensation

  • Crushing or tight sensation

Heart Attack

When a person has a heart attack, he may feel severe pain of crushing in the chest; it is also associated with pain expending to the jaw or left arm. Sweating is also a symptom associated with it.

Angina

Blood vessels leading to the heart become choked or blocked that causes chest pain. Angina has the same symptoms as a heart attack. This attack is also triggered by stress or physical activity, although resting can make this less effective.

Myocarditis

It causes the heart muscles to swell. In other words, it causes inflammation. 

Pericarditis

There is a sac around the heart filled with protective fluid. When this sac becomes inflamed or swells, it causes chest pain. Chest pain.

Aortic Dissection

Although Aortic dissection is a very rare condition, and that is a tear in the aorta.

Cardiomyopathy

This happens when your heart muscles get affected by the disease.; it affects the size, shape, and structure of the heart muscles.

Mitral Valve Prolapse

It is a heart murmur; it happens when a heart valve is not functioning well or does not close properly.
